Thursday, January 11, 7:00 pm, at Boswell: Roc O’Connor, author of I Want to See: What the Story of Blind Bartimaeus Teaches Us about Fear, Surrender and Walking the Path to JoyRoc O’Connor, SJ is Associate Pastor at Church of the Gesu at Marquette University. He entered the Society of Jesus in 1967 and, during his years as a young Jesuit, he started to compose and publish liturgical music for the Catholic Church. As part of the St. Louis Jesuits, O’Connor was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Music by Creighton University. He is currently a member of the Formation for Liturgical Prayer seminar group and the Liturgical Composers Forum.

Sujata Massey was born in England to parents from India and Germany and was raised in St. Paul. Before becoming a novelist, she was a features reporter for the Baltimore Evening Sun. She is the author of 13 novels, two novellas, and numerous short stories, and her work has received the Agatha and Macavity awards.
