The Downer and Webster Building in Its Glory, Selling Dodges.

You may not know that the building that houses Boswell was originally a car dealership. There's still a frieze of an automobile above our entrance. But what you probably don't know was the brand of car they sold--it was Dodge. In addition, it was also a driving school.

It's all quite clear on this new print, presented to us by FOB (friend of Boswell) John Eastberg. Eastberg, Director of Development and Senior Historian of the Pabst Mansion, certainly knows his way around history and preservation. He located this print and had it restored for us.

I should also note that John's new book, Pabst Farms: The History of a Model Farm, is available in November at Boswell.

The print is hanging in a place of honor, over our main entrance. Thank you, John!
